Yes unfortunately flickr is a greedy website, that refuses cross linking between websites. You can put your pictures on www.photobucket.com to share them. Or you can use the Add Attachment button.

I am sure Xavier or Yvan will be able to help you with this French Lycaenidae caterpillar.

Very nice images. Photobucket-free to join, will host about a thousand pictures again for Free. You can do l many of things there with your images such as crop, resize and sharpened those that you are not happy with. If you ever reach a thousand pictures ( I post a lot, so I am reaching 600 hosts, here and elsewhere) then you will have to pay to add more space. When I first joined their pop up ads drove me crazy, so I payed to go ad free. I was surprised that photobucket allowed pop ups because of what they may contain. Anyway its a great service. You click the URL then just paste and thus you image will be hosted by them.

I'll second the suggestion to use photobucket. I've been using it for years without issue. I also prefer inserting images, as opposed to attaching them. Takes an extra step, but the results are better : nice, larger images embedded into your posts, instead of smaller previews that need to be clicked on by the viewer.

I also use Photobucket, but never have pop ups, which I loathe. I use a pop up blocker on Firefox, and also an ad-blocker, so I suppose that's what makes the difference...

I use a pop up blocker on Firefox, and also an ad-blocker I do the same. Though I've ensured that advertisements are enabled on specific sites like this, since I'm assuming they lead to revenue for the website owner.

Those pop-ups are invasive (I will never install some on my websites) but I tolerate them on photobucket. Photobucket must have HUGE hosting costs, no problem for me to help them find a sustainable model.
Those cookie/pop-up blockers are killing the internet. I personally click on some banners from time to time on photobucket to thank them for this free service. I don't want photobucket to disappear. People have to understand that there is no such things as "free internet".
Click on the ads of the websites you like to support them from time to time. Don't use cookie blockers or you are killing those websites "small" revenues, that help them pay their monthly fees.
