I have a rather small collection of insects. Many I have bought, but a few I have collected The real star of my collection is this Chiasognathus grantii, He was a purchase
Here are 3 Arthropods in resin. These were bought from museums. Not sure what species Here is all the life stages and products of the Honeybee, Apis mellifera, Bought This from a Museum as Well Here are some insects I collected dead. The Bummblebee, I am unsure of, possibly B ombus morrisoni, The moth is Antheraea Polyphemus, or something really closely related Here is where my Collection takes a more unique turn, I think. I have several vials of parasites, including an unknown nematode, and then my Phthiraptera collection. I worked at a lab that studied them so I got a few over time. the far vial has a single Menacanthus sp. I believe This picture shows my vial of Columbicola columbae, which lives on the wings of pigeons This vial is one of the two with Pigeon Body Lice. I though the genus was Colecerus, but that is a weevil. More likely it is Campanulotes in particular Campanulotes bidentatus

Very good. I have read that Chiasognathus grantii is a rare species through habitat loss.
