Hey Tim, glad to her you were able to get out and collect this species with some success. Every year is different. You managed a fair number, got some eggs, and wound up with a couple of chrysalids. I think that's great. Heck, I went to my locale which I frequented last year (and did pretty well by); only to find this nice field of wild flowers mowed for hay bailes ! I was devastated... I spent some time looking about nearby for something / anything of viable substance to no avail. It was also very hot at the time (in the 90's) and maybe their cycle was a little off of last year as I did not see a one. Well, there is hopefully always next year and that is how it plays out sometimes. I would not of minded securing some A2's because you know sometimes that's all Mother Nature is willing to give you. It's better than getting skunked.
