On YouTube I subscribe to this Canadian dude Kyle Jennerman, aka "Becoming Filipino". He has lived in the Philippines for a few years now. In late September he posted pictures from a trip to the summit of Mt. Hamiguitan, on his Instagram account.
With much anticipation from my side, I'm most happy to post and share his first YouTube video from that trip, which he has just released. Guess what Delias freaks! We finally get to see the first and probably only live footage of Delias magsadana in its natural habitat in below video!!! It seem to be a male, perched on a leaf right along the forest path. I have forwarded the video start to a few seconds before the the sequence, but I'd recommend watching the video from start as the nature and some info is nice to be informed about, like humans was evicted from the park already back in 2004, etc. We also get an understanding of the habitat where this species is found and can further establish that this rather fresh looking specimen was filmed on 29 or 30 September, telling us something about the flight season. Another video will continue this trip in the next few days, but I'll post it here when its released. Please do spare a second and give Kyle a like on this video, as you enjoy a few seconds of Delias magsadana:
