Hi, I found two Mariposa Mexicanas displayed in double sided glass frames. Each frame is labeled:
Mariposa Mexicanas Selva Lacandona
Ministerial Summit forum 8 On health research 26-20 November 2004 Mexico city
So I found a couple mexican butterfly specimens from this summit. They are specimens from this area of the Amazon rainforest in the Yucatan Peninsula. I don'the know if they are endangered or extinct and there is no other info.
Are these rare?
