Welcome indeed Stanislav,
For those readers who do not know of him, Stanislav Korb has published very many works on Lepidoptera of the area previously known as the Soviet Union over many years. I am sure everyone here is looking forward to his contributions to the forum.
Adam.

Hello everybody My name is Lance Morgan from Nottingham, UK. I have had a lifelong interest in entomology thanks to my old biology teacher Mr Berman at St Ivo school in Cambs. I'm 60 years now and am done with collecting preferring photography and conservation of insects. I still breed butterflies and moths and will continue to do so.

Hi folks, I am Shinichi, a Lepidopterist currently based at McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity (Gainesville, USA). As seen from my publications (e.g., www.researchgate.net/profile/Shinichi_Nakahara), I am mainly interested in Neotropical butterfly systematics in the broadest sense of the word, with an emphasis on those ''little brown jobs'' (i.e. satyrs). I see many folks here are rather interested in the Old world fauna, but hope to stimulate some discussion in the foreseeable future!

Hello everyone, my name is Ian. I am from southern Minnesota in the United States and picked up interest in insect collecting about 5 years ago. I have always been interested in insects since I was a child, and read a lot of literature on them at that time. I collected a couple specimens in my teenage years, but did not dedicate myself to it. This year I am planning on dedicating myself more to the hobby, and hope that this forum can provide me with information if I need it (as information on insect collecting isn't always easy to find). I will be mainly collecting insects from my local area unless I am able to travel, in which I can collect in different places within the US (within legal means). I am not so much of a social-poster and will probably lurk most of the time, but I hope to eventually gain the experience to help new users. I also hope this forum will teach me many important concepts within entomology as well as insect collection!
Thank you all, -Ian

Hello!
I'm Amber, based in NYC. I've been making insect displays in some fashion or another for about 6 years now and continue to do so in my own business as an artist. I worked in a 8,000 sq ft conservatory housing approx. 4,000 free-flying lepidoptera of about 40 different species from around the world. I'm here to learn as much as I can and share any knowledge I can with fellow creepy crawly lovers.
Pleasure to be here!

As a new member of this forum, I believe it would be nice to present myself a bit. So, without a further due, lets get into it. I’m a begginer into a fascinating world of insects. I find these creatures to be amazing and enjoy studying them and comparing them. I usually work with dead specimen. However I like to watch living samples too. As a person who lives in the middle Europe I was pretty much shocked when I first discovered how massive some species may be - starting with the large grasshoppers going all the way too wasps and beetle, well, especially beetles. And this was probably also the breakpoint when I decided to further investigate and collect these living beauties.
