Absolutely love the photo's skandinavisk. I especially liked seeing that the Coleoptera types are all kept togather in metal cabinets. This was NOT the case at the museum where I worked here in Chicago for 8 years. At my institution the thinking was to " integrate" the types into the main collection. This was not something that I personally agreed with but, as they say "the powers that be" had it their way.
The rest of the main collection looks quite nice in those wooden cabinets however, a switch to metal cabinets with locking mechanisms at top,middle, and bottom are the way to go for a better seal.
I'm a bit surprised that the staff would put 3 pretty darn nice examples of alexandrea in such a crappy drawer which has obviously been exposed to humidity or dampness in the past judging by the mold stains !

Interesting images , I noticed there is quite a bit of damp spotting on the paper in the drawer containing the alexandrae. A big surprise that the curator had not even heard of Waterstradt from his own country. I mentioned Waterstradt at Oxford and they knew who he was and told me that he sold many specimens to many collectors. Oxford has quite a few of his specimens and they are going to see what they have of his for me to research. Looks like you had a very good time.
