Cirrochroa imperatrix is indeed one of the most impressive and beautiful lep I have met. If you are interested in knowing more about it, this is the biotope where I have found it in Biak (a Papuan island in the North of W. Papua). It was a very hot and humid day in a rather dense forest. It was very tiring to hunt, and after one month in Papua, I was very tired. But I have seen some blue "flashes" inside a bush (I guess Morpho are doing the same kind of flashes) and it was him. Delias dohertyi also flies there. Attachments:
