There is a natural history museum near me that has an entomology exhibit, and they have nice cabinets for their displays. Unfortunately, so many people have constantly opened and closed the cabinets over the years that the specimens themselves have mostly fallen apart resulting in ugly insect parts rolling all over inside the cabinets. I want to buy some cabinets for my pinned insects, but I’m fearful that the same might happen to mine. Are there any high quality cabinets out there that prevent this from happening?

No, you just must be careful when open and carry the drawers.

Those cabinets have probably been opened dozens if not hundreds of times per day, and perhaps not with much care. Just use common sense and they will be fine.
