We found alot of these beetles at work, in the clean rooms. I was thinking it was just a local beetle that somehow got in the clean room and laid eggs. Now we must have 100 of them, most dead, but I have taken about 10 outside that were still alive. But now I am not sure if they are local? We do a lot of work over seas, and this could of been stowaway eggs that hatched? see photo below of some dead ones. I live in California, we have been doing work lately in Florida and French Guiana.

They're Trachymela sloanei - not local, but exotic, tough well stabilished in California. For sure you have an eucalyptus tree nearby. These guys are completely harmless, and I think that they're good for helping combat the pest that Eucalyptus are.
