For the first time in my life, I had the opportunity to go to Provence (South-East France) in spring, the 22th of April 2018. It was the opportunity for me to meet some splendid spring species like Anthocharis belia euphenoides. Some pictures. Yes I am a big fan of Luberon too. I go there every two year and I plan to buy a house there one day.

Thanks, I cannot this year but with pleasure next year and I am also a good cook ! :-).
I have found apollo several times in Luberon, also rumina. About alexanor, I have been twice in the spot near Lagarde d’Apt but I was too early or too late each time.

To better appreciate the delicate beauty of Anthocharis belia euphenoides, here is a pair I've caught in April in Mazaugues forest (Massif de la Sainte Baume) antho recto verso by opequin, sur Flickr

Anthocharis is my favourite genus. Unfortunately none of those flying either in eastern Ontario nor Thailand. I still want to try Canadian Rocky Mountains but I usually go there in July and they are finished there by then.
