Mynes butterflies are nice Nymphalidae, mimics of the unpalatable Pieridae Delias. They fly in SE Asia and Oceania. The mountain species from New Guinea are very rare in collection as there are nearly no collecting there.
Here are some splendid Mynes halli from New Guinea (Mount Hagen) from my friend Nicolas Grimaldi collection.

I was lucky to find these beautiful specimens, they fly like Delias and it is only when you have them in the net that you understand what it is. The only difference is that most specimens I have caught were flying under a cloudy weather, under which you will not see any Delias.

Congratulations to Nick for collecting these superb Mynes in the Papuan Mountains. I really like this genus.

Given their similarity to Delias, it's no wonder that I really like these too.
