I see Benny de Groof is unfortunately closing his shop. The material I bought from him has been exactly as advertised. His grading on specimens was perfection.

He has a message up on his webpage, entire stock to clear, shop closing, 30% off all orders. Perhaps someone who knows him personally will know why.

Hi everyone, I thought it would be best if I gave some information myself. It's true we are closing our webshop and selling our entire stock. The main reason is that for the last couple of years we have been working almost 24/7 and although I love working with insects, it was time for something new My girlfriend and I have been working on a new project for a while now (not butterfly related) and we decided it was time to switch over full-time. We'll be able to work from practically anywhere so this will give us the opportunity to combine travel, work and of course collect Hepialidae. We have actually been looking forward to this for some time and are really happy to finally taking the next step. Before this happens we still have to sell our remaining stock! I also want to take the chance to thank everyone. We received so many wonderful reactions from people since we annouced that we will be stopping. It's always nice to hear your work is appreciated. Feel free to contact me if anyone has any questions. Best regards, Benny

This is very sad, but understandable news. Benny is one of the few people I have actually bought specimens from in the past few years due to my dire financial situation. If I had some money I would have bought a lot of material from him, as the quality and service was excellent.
Thanks for explaining the reasons for this decision, and best wishes for success in whatever new venture you are embarking on.
Adam.

Dear Benny, I am glad for you but your shop will be highly missed. I have bought several Delias from you and I have always been pleased by the quality of the specimens and their data.
I don't forget neither when you explored Papua and found a splendid ab of Delias argentata for me.
Finally you were amont the first sponsors of the ICF, of Collectors Secret and of the Delias website, our community means a lot to you !
I hope you will still have time to share your collecting trips with us !

Yes that Delias argentata was stunning! West Papua is certainly on the list, it has some very interesting Hepialids. I'll do my best to post pictures of collecting trips from time to time
