I believe it is the large Longhorns that are of interest to collectors, but lets not forget all the smaller European species. The little longhorn Pogonocherus hispidulus is only 5=8mm yet what marvellous camouflage it has, said by the experts to resemble a bird dropping especially when it is on vegetation. I found this one in the New Forest during May and the ant in the photo is not attacking it, it just did not know the beetle was there!

Too bad it isn't a 10 cm bug indeed !
