Hello.
The Essonne. You probably know this small department south of Paris which houses the international stock exchange Juvisy. Nevertheless, this department remains rural south contrasting with the highly urbanized north. Around the fields and farms there are many small resorts sometimes very rich. There may be hybridization zones between Bellargus and Coridon. Syngrapha also flies there and by the end of August they were very abundant all 2.
It was my last day with my colleagues a "youth gang" as they say. 5 years ago we met by chance or after several attacks I decided not to hunt alone anymore. The group involves some constraints but provides a deterrent effect. A last day of hunting before the long winter months to sort out takes and photos. It's been two years since the Summer we go together. 2018 will be our third edition. The car license has opened many possibilities.
But I go astray and here is the beast. This is probably not an exceptional form but I have seen a very rich year in Lycaenidae aberration. I had never found a single aberrant moth since my 7 years of hunting is now over. It was already my fourth aberrant butterfly and still from the same family. And it was not finished.
Gironville sur Essonne "La Justice (91) 28/VIII/2017 France.
It is dark but it is indeed a male.
The next day a colleague who only makes the photo falls on a new individual even more beautiful than the first. Thinking of my catch yesterday he has preciously kept me the time that I recover. But it was not all while sorting his photos he realized that he did not deal with a single individual but two alas the second has spun this day for lack of inattention but two beautiful shots at half that said for me it was already incredible.
My thanks of course go to the person who took it for me.
