I am currently in Shanghai on a business trip and to my big surprise in front of the hotel there was a small hedge filled with flowers and at least a dozen different butterflies, some colias, pieris, Graphium sarpedon already very worn, a few Lycaenidae and Polygonia, but also a few hummingbird moths, i saw at least three different species. I could not resist and caught one with my shirt and successfully trapped it in a plastic bag. Does anyone know this hummingbird moth? Place is China Shanghai Hongqiao, in the middle of the city, just next to Hongqiao Airport, on 7th October 2017.

This one is a Cephonodes, probably hylas as opposed to a Macroglossum species.
