I really started nature photography last year in march when I purchased a Canon 70D camera following comments on this thread : collector-secret.proboards.com/thread/411/equipment-recommend-butterflies-photographyI then bought a 100 mm macro lens and recently a 100-400 mm zoom from Canon At the same time I purchased 2 other piece of equipment which have proved very successfull : Number one is a Segway x2 SE that proved unrivalled to, approach reptiles as they can't here you coming (no vibration on the ground), go quickly after a butterfly flying or travel long distances in the search of insects, birds or so ... www.segway.com/ Number two is a CCS Camera Harness-2, which helps carying my camera without having a bad neck at the end (especially with my new zoom) www.cottoncarrier.com/collections/camera-vests/products/ccs-camera-vest-2I can take pictures using both in the same time I have to admit that the Segway is a must but the price is quite formidable @olivier : next time you visit me, we will be able to scour the countryside more easily ... A+, Michel

I'd love to see the sort of reaction I'd get if I tried using a segway around here.

"CCS Camera Harness-2, which helps carying my camera without having a bad neck at the end"
The "bad neck", I know very well ! The harness seems very useful. Not too hot in tropical countries ?

I have not tried it yet in tropical climate, but it should not be too bad, and there will be more benefits than disadvantages A+, Michel
