Happy New Year from Koh PhiPhi !!! 2014 is finishing perfectly for me, I have seen some HUGE Parthenos in the fores today.
In one week of collecting, I have seen more than 60 species of rhopalocera on this beautiful island (at least in the preserved part of the island). I have taken hundreds of pictures, I will share some with you on the forum when I am back. Some splendid species and interesting behaviours.
Happy New Year Gentlemen !

Glad to hear you have had a successful trip to Koh PhiPhi. I am sure everyone will enjoy seeing the photos and news of your observations.
Meanwhile at 21.45 here in Chiang Mai, I would like to join in slightly prematurely and wish all forum members and guests a very Happy New Year. May 2015 bring the insects you are looking for, whether it be for a collection, photography or even those that like to "tick them off" on a list of things seen - each to their own, and together we are helping to improve knowledge of insects all round the world.
Adam.
