Around 4PM, Danaidae butterflies tend to search a place to spend the night in the forest trees at about 4 meter high.
This able you to shoot them from below and to obtain a nice background due to the lights of the sky between the canopy leaves.
Here an Euploea is chasing a Tirumala from a nice resting spot :

Are you able to collect on this trip Olivier? It would absolutely drive me nuts seeing all these things your showing us --- and not be able to swing the net !

I doubt it, as Koh Phi-Phi is part of a National Park.

I did not collect as there are no interesting Delias or potential new taxa there.
About the National Park status, it is not enforced at all as half of the island has been destructed by ugly tourism infrastructure, plastic pollution is huge everywhere and in the few remaining natural area, there are no sign at all you are in a park.
The impression it gives is that Thai authorities consider only Koh Phi Phi Leh as a national park (no tourism construction, guards and so on) but not the ultratouristic and profitable Koh Phi Phi Don.
