deliasfanatic, i dont understand ? why dont you use the standard method ? and why turn over your labels? i am a beginner and work hard to make them look the more professional i can! the eupholus family are not cheap cost so they merit better !

Well, perhaps they are not "standard" height on the pin - I'm afraid that I'm not certain! I only dabble in beetles to a small degree, and I've never seen anyone's collection in person, only photos on which it was difficult to judge the height. I'm no expert on beetles, it's easy to see The labels are inverted because they would otherwise be impossible to read on large specimens without removing them from the pins...inverted, one can simply lift the specimen and look at the label beneath without removing it. Of course, if the specimens were higher on the pin, that wouldn't present a problem for small-sized specimens, but it would still be true for large species such as Goliathus, etc.

I was actually thinking once to do that way so they can be easily readable without removing from pin Paul

No, they're always far enough below the specimen to read them from above.
