going too far now, who buys these? are they insane? birdwings turned blue under light, greased specimens, I'm off upstairs to see if I have any "abs" that I want to get rid off, might get a new car out of it

I totally understand the seller. He simply wants to cover losses from last auction $2000 (buyer didn't pay) +$2000 current cost +$1000 compensation for time lost, mental stress and emotional issues = $5000- $0.01 discount = $4999.99. Is my math correct ?

It is against eBay rules, but it is not ILLEGAL. It would be illegal to ship the specimens to any country that is a signatory of CITES. If another Russian bought the specimens it would be legal.

It is illegal to poach and export this butterfly this butterfly in Papua New Guinea, therefore it does not matter what another country has signed or in this case has not. That is why its called the Black Market.
