I have the impression this blue Mecynorhina ugandensis is greasy. Any suggestions, techniques or ideas on how to degrease this beetle?
I heard of laying it in an Acetone bath... ?!? Thank you in advance Attachments:

It takes a lot longer than a few hours gor beetles. I find relaxing prior to acetone bath helps to loosen up grease. Leave in acetone from a few days to a few weeks.
