I've read that at least one collector repairs broken-off segments of his beetle antennae but I can't find any directions for this procedure. I've had this happen a couple of times when a small end of one broke off. Does anyone do this ? And if so, how ?

A tiny, tiny bit of superglue is probably your best bet. Dab the broken end into a droplet of glue, press it into place, and hold it until it's dry. You might have to hold it for a few minutes, but it should work.

Yes, use super glue. Rather than hold it, you can position crossed pins that will suspend it. After the pins are in position to hold the antenna, THEN use super glue.

I use regular school glue, much diluted with isopropyl alcohol. The alcohol soon evaporates and the glue is nearly invisible. You may have to wait for the glue to dry before gluing on the next segment.
