Polyommatus (Lysandra) bellargus is a common butterfly in Europe and one the world most amazing beauties. The male wears a splendid blue while the female varies from brown to deep blue ( form ceronus). Even if this species is common and well known, entomologists love studying its forms and aberrations as it is a species who easily varies. Some aberrations are rare (like aberration radiata or aberration striata), some other aberrations are common like aberration arcuata. To find an aberrant specimen, you have to check about 100 specimens to find an aberrant one among them. This is a difficult but passionating task that you can practice even in area poor in rare species. Below is a picture of a rare male Polyommatus bellargus aberration striata I found in Luberon, France, in July 2013. Polyommatus aberrations for sale on Collector's Secret here.

This is a beautiful aberration
I agree xavm, the best locality for ab suffusa in Britain, was on the chalk of the Folkestone area of Kent, it was sometimes taken there during the 1950s. I believe it is a rarity.

Here are some very beautiful female forms of Lysandra ( Polyommatus) Coridon, semisyngraph - Tutt and syngraph Kef = tithonus. Meign. The tithonus are from the Chiltern hills in Buckinghamshire. The semisyngraph are from the famous collecting locality of Royston Heath in Hertfordshire in Eastern England. Royston Heath produced many famous coridon aberrations. During the British Blues aberration craze that took place between 1914-1940, all the famous collectors came here during the early part of that period and all the hotels in the area were booked months in advance. Among the famous collectors who came here for the coridon season were Mr H.A. Leeds and Mr P.M. Bright who produced a monograph on the coridon aberrations.

I love the syngrapha form. It remembers me a lot of collecting days in Fontainebleau where there are many !
